The K-PO MB+5 is a robust desk microphone designed for CB and amateur radio use. It features rotary controls for precise adjustment of volume and tone, allowing you to set the audio to your personal preference.
A built in high gain amplifier of approximately 35 dB delivers a strong and clear audio signal, while the integrated volume compressor ensures consistent modulation during transmission. The output level can be accurately matched to virtually any transmitter, and the internal equalizer allows fine tuning of the sound characteristics.

This Mic, while not flashy or chromed out, pairs beautifully with the radioddity qt 60 pro & I run the tone all the way off as it sounds best for me there. With tone knob all the way to left, audio is very punchy & loud ! Not overly bassy either but not tinny .Yet crystal clear. I run the gain itself wide open on ssb, no distortion whatsoever and about 12 on am. You do not have to eat the mic or talk very close as I talk from my lazboy a foot away and locals say i still sound amazing.
